20.4 handicap to breaking 80 in less than a year, using this exact system
Can I be honest with you?
I'm not a PGA Tour pro. I never will be. I hardly played golf as a kid and then for 20 years I only played a handful of times per year.
It wasn't until I was 35 that I even started tracking my scores for the first time and got a handicap. And then I was stuck in the low 20s for years.
Today I'm down to a single digit handicap. But I failed at typical golf instruction, before figuring out what works.
So I know exactly what you're going through right now.
You find a YouTube video that should work for you. You practice it and try it out on the range. You get the training aids and maybe even took a lesson or two.
And for a while, it seems to help.
But then you get out on the course a couple of rounds later, the whole group watching, and everything falls apart.

- You have the swing thought you practiced, but can't seem to make it work today.
- You hit great shots on the range but can't find them on the course.
- You finish another round wondering what you're supposed to practice next.
- The video you watch this week seems to contradict the one from last week.
I've been there. Staring at my ball flying off into the trees from a massive slice. Not knowing what to do or how to fix it. It's not fun.
But here's the thing I wish someone had told me years ago:
YouTube videos are made to keep you watching. Most golf instruction starts by changing how your swing looks. Neither of them teaches you how to actually improve and take it to the course.
There's a reason you're still stuck. And it has nothing to do with talent, age, or how many hours you've practiced. It has everything to do with how you've been learning.
Let me show you what I discovered instead.
What Golf Improvement Actually Looks Like
You improve your game through four repeatable stages:
Diagnose Your Game
First, you identify where you are actually losing strokes.
Not where you think you are losing them. Not what you remember from one terrible hole. And not what your playing partners tell you to fix.
You use real shot and scoring data to identify the part of your game costing you the most strokes. Instead of spreading your limited practice time across everything, you find your biggest leak and start there.
Result: You know exactly what to work on first and why it matters.

Improve Impact
Once you know your biggest weakness, you identify the sub-aspect that is costing you, and you improve it.
You don't need to rebuild your swing or force your body into a list of perfect positions.
Instead, you use the differential learning method developed by German sports scientist Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schöllhorn (along with testing and feedback) to improve the outcome that matters. Because the ball doesn't care what your swing looks like, only what happens at impact.
Result: You improve the part of your game costing you strokes with a unique, natural learning process.

Apply Deliberate Practice (With an App)
Knowing what to fix is not enough. You need a way to practice it that creates measurable improvement.
Instead of raking ball after ball at the range without a clear purpose, I'll show you how to setup a personalized plan where each session gives you a specific problem to solve, a structured task, a challenge to score, a result to record, and a way to track progress.
I built a simple web app specifically for this (works on every device). You tell the app a few things like how much time you have and what you are working on, and it will generate a structured practice session for you automatically.
Result: Your practice becomes fun, challenging, measurable, and easier to stick with.

Lower Your Handicap with On-Course Performance
The final stage is turning practice improvement into lower scores on the course.
You will learn how to transfer practice performance to course performance. Uncover a smart course strategy for lower scoring. And a proper pre-round warm up. You'll get, on-course tools like ball flight diagnosis and fixes, and a method of performance testing to get the best scores from your current skill level.
After each round, you return to your data, identify the weakness, and repeat the process.
Result: Your practice begins showing up on the scorecard, and you have a system you can keep using for years.

I built this for myself
In 2024 I joined a semi-competitive golf group. I was still a low-20s handicap and too scared to hit my driver. A couple of months in, I vividly remember being on the first tee in the first group, more than 20 guys standing there watching. I hit the most violent slice of my life. The wind took it and it narrowly missed a parked car. I was so embarrassed and couldn't wait to get off that tee box.
After the round I went home and tried fixing it. And for the next 2 rounds I thought I had. Long, straight drives.
But then it fell apart completely. Again. And I had no idea why.

So I did what stuck golfers do. I went back to YouTube. I tried all sorts of training aids. A knock-off divot board that broke. A HackMotion wrist trainer that changed nothing. A 3D swing session with a pro who told me my problem was early extension. An online course that wanted me to rebuild my whole swing from scratch. Eighteen months, a heap of time and money, a brief dip down to 18.3. But then my handicap climbed right back up into the low 20s.
Then a couple of things happened around the same time. First, I discovered it was never my "swing" that was the problem. It was what happened at impact. And 2nd, there was a much better way to go about trying to improve it.
I started tracking real data instead of guessing, and adapted Prof. Dr. Schöllhorn's differential learning practice method to golf. It's the reason I actually improved, and also was able to take my skills to the course instead of just at the range.
As I developed this new way of practicing I documented what I was doing and how my practice sessions were going. Initially it was only for myself. To give me a framework I could use to keep me focused on the process instead of going down YouTube rabbit holes. But now I'm handing you the map.
On February 7, 2026, I shot 78. At 40 years old it was my first time breaking 80. 11 months and 11 days earlier, my handicap had been 20.4. Today it's single figures, and heading towards scratch.

If your own progress looks messy right now, mine did too, for two years straight!
But I'm here to tell you there is hope. There is another way.
What Makes The DIAL Method Different?
Here's what separates this method from what you might have seen elsewhere.
What the DIAL Method does
- Starts with your scoring data, not your swing
- Fixes one thing at a time, in the right order
- Measures (and improves) the conditions that actually impact the ball
- Scores every practice session so you can see improvement off the course
- Transfers what you build at the range onto the card
What other golfers are doing
- Taking lessons based mainly on how their swing looks
- Jumping from YouTube tip to YouTube tip
- Measuring swing variables that may not relate to their real problem
- Hitting ball after ball without testing improvement
- Performing well on the range but losing it on the course
The DIAL Method is a complete system you personalize to your own game, where every part depends on the step before it.
- You cannot improve the right thing until you diagnose the right problem.
- You cannot practice properly until you know what you are trying to improve.
- And improved skill means very little until it transfers to the course and lowers your score.
Diagnose. Improve. Apply. Lower.
That is what makes DIAL different.
It does not ask you to work harder at everything. It helps you work on the right thing, in the right order, with proof that you are moving forward.
Why Not Just Get Lessons or Free Training from YouTube or AI?
You have options. Here is how the DIAL Method compares with the usual way golfers try, and keep failing, to get better.

Imagine this
You get to the range with 30 minutes and you already know exactly what you're working on, with a personalized plan ready to go.
You stand on the first tee and pick a target that fits the shot you actually hit, not the one you wish you hit.
You hit a bad one, and instead of the round unraveling, you know what you did and how to fix it with the next shot.
You finish your round and the number on the card is one you'd have signed for before you started.
And when someone asks what you changed, you don't say you found a tip. You say you found a system.
That is the other side of this. Not perfect, not overnight, but real. And far closer than years of swing tips ever got you.

Founding-Member Access
Because this is the first release, Founding Members have the opportunity to help shape future improvements. Tell me anything that does not make sense or needs a better explanation, app features that could be improved, examples that would make the system clearer, additional resources that would help you, and anything that is missing that you need help with.
Where I can, I'll add, improve or fix whatever needs it so even if there is something not covered in the current course, you'll be able to get it added.
Are there any Bonuses?
Special bonuses you get access to when you join.
The Driver Launch Optimizer
Even if driving isn't your biggest weakness, everyone wants to hit it further off the tee. With this bonus you'll squeeze extra distance out of your current swing speed by dialing in your launch conditions.

The Personal Wedge Matrix Builder
This bonus will help you build a personalized distance chart for your scoring clubs, so "somewhere around 70 yards" becomes an exact club and swing length you already know works.

Direct Founding-Member Support
For your first three months, you can contact me directly via email, WhatsApp or Telegram when you need help. Response time is typically 24 hours or less during business hours, Monday through Friday.
You can ask any questions you like such as:
- What should I work on first?
- Am I reading my data correctly?
- Which challenge should I try?
- How should I structure this week's practice?
- What should I do if progress stalls?
- How should I use the app for my current weakness?
- I tried x, y or z, but it didn't seem to work?
You will not be left alone to guess your way through the program.

One-time payment. 90-day Guarantee
This is the lowest price I will offer the DIAL Method. You are receiving the Founding-Member price because this is the first public release.
In return, I'm looking for golfers who will use the system, complete the practice sessions, provide honest feedback, and share their results.
Right now, every Founding Member gets direct access to me, not a generic support inbox. I'll be personally answering questions and updating the course and app to improve it based on your feedback. I can only do that for a limited group before it stops being practical. That's why I'm limiting the Founding Group numbers (and price) to 18 people.
Once those spots are gone, the price goes up (because the course and app will be more valuable) and the direct access goes away.
For $97 you could get:
- One in-person lesson
- A couple of rounds of golf where you are not performing your best
- A very small deposit for a new driver ($600+)
- Another training aid that won't help you
Or you could get an entire system:
- Less wasted practice time
- No more wasted training aid purchases
- More confidence
- Better enjoyment
- A repeatable system for life
Most golfers spend more chasing improvement than the entire DIAL Method costs.

The 90-Day DIAL Guarantee
I'm confident the DIAL Method will work for you. But I also know that confidence comes from experience, not promises.
So here's my guarantee: Try the course. Work through the lessons. Use the app for some practice sessions. If at any point in the next 90 days you decide it's not for you, email me and I'll refund every penny. No questions. No awkwardness. No hassle.
You have a full 90 days to decide. That's how confident I am that you'll get results from this method.
